(c. 1868), with the plate in good condition. A fine impression printed in black/brown ink on warm white wove paper. Numbered and titled in the plate; unsigned as issued. $1,250.
Goya's commentary: He who does not reflect on the inconsistancy of fortune sleeps peacefully while surrounded by dangers; he does not kow how to avoid the danger which threatens him, and there is no misfortune which does not surprise him.
