Bible text: front Exodus 19.2-25 through Exodus 20:1-16. Verso: begins with "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife...." Exodus 21:1-25.

The image is Toby Burke's public house at Cos Cob. The lower part is a country bar; a veranda with open-work railing are above. In the foreground , two Italian men operate a hand organ.
