A rich impression printed on cream 'England' countermarked paper, on the full sheet with deckle edges. Signed and annotated 'trial proof' and 3rd state' in pencil. $1,250.
Laura Knight sketched travelled with a circus, and made etchings, drawings and oil paintings. In her book, Oil Paint and Grease Paint she wrote, "... during the performances I drew everything from behind as the show proceeded. I made friends with the performers and they often posed for me" (p. 299).
