A rich, well-inked impression printed on cream wove paper with full margins. Signed 'Martin Lewis imp' in pencil, indicating an impression printed by the artist. $3,000.
McCarron Writes, page 128: "Lewis recorded that 27 prints were returned to him at an unknown date and that he 'kept 10, destroyed the rest.' The curved lines at top left are a compoisitional device used frequently be Lewis, beginning with his first print, Smoke Pillar, Weehawken (No.1) of 1915."
