Stonehaven, in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, is a town in Aberdeenshire, lies on Scotland's northeast coast. Hardie writes, "On the quay at Stonehaven the group is gathered round boxes of fish; three fishwives and two men to the left; boxes to the right, with the mouth of the harbour beyond."
