A rich impression printed on Montval laid paper countermarked 'Picasso' on the full sheet with deckle edges. Signed in pencil. $7,000.
Ambroise Vollard (1866–1939) was among the most celebrated art dealers and publishers in late nineteenth- and early twentieth-century Paris. This is one of four portraits of Vollard that Picasso completed on a single day.
