A pupil of Frank Swift Chase, Wayman Adams, and Henry B. Snell, she studied at the Pennsylviana Museum and School of Industrial Art and the Grand Central School of Art. A member of the Connecticut Academy and the Springfield Artist's Guild, she held exhibits in Hartford, Westfield, and Florida. She was active in the Springfield Artists Guild and the Springfield Art League.She did series of linoleum cuts of local collges: Mount Holyoke, Smith, and Amherst. In 1955, she moved to Nantucket, where she had a studio.
