November 21, 1851 – May 15, 1922), was a British portrait artist and caricaturist.He was the son of artists Edward Matthew Ward and Henrietta Ward. In 1873 sent caricatures to Thos Bowles the Founder of Vanity Fair where he was to work for 40 years under the pseudonym Spy. He drew 1325 of the 2387 prints published in Vanity Fair.
