Printed on the full sheet with deckle edges. Monogrammed with the butterfly in the plate. Hurlingham is in Fulham, London. $4,000.
At this point in his career, Whistler returned to etching Thames subjects due to his financial situation. This plate is noteworthy for its atmospheric reflection of light upon the water.
