Hardie writes, p. 41, "A landing-stage cuts across the lowe left corner of the plate; beyond it a wherry and a small yacht lie moored; a man in a punt by the bank to the right; windmills in the middle distance."
The Bure runs through the Norfolk Broads to Great Yarmouth and the East coast of England.
